Cloud Engineer
Raborn Media is seeking a motivated Cloud Engineer to join the ground floor of a newly formed technology unit. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining secure cloud environments, executing technical implementations, and consulting with stakeholders to solve business challenges.

Responsibilities
Design and deploy scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure, establishing the standards for our future client engagements
Lead cybersecurity implementation plans, implementing robust Identity and Access Management (IAM), SSO, and pragmatic compliance controls
Reduce toil by building and maintaining Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and developing scripts to automate repetitive operational tasks
Plan and execute the movement of legacy or on-premise workloads to modern cloud architectures with minimal downtime
Collaborate directly with internal and external clients to assess their current technology posture, translate business needs into technical solutions, and communicate complex concepts clearly
Qualification
Required
3–5 years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, Systems Engineering, or DevOps
Hands-on fluency with major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, and/or GCP) and core services (Compute, Storage, Networking, IAM)
Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform experience strongly preferred)
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automation and tooling
Deep understanding of Identity Providers (IdP), SSO, and MFA configurations
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Ability to work standard business hours (8 – 5 in your timezone)
Preferred
Experience with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, etc.)
Experience with Endpoint Management (MDM) tools
Relevant certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Engineer, or Azure equivalents)
Background in consulting or client-facing technical roles
Experience setting up or managing CI/CD pipelines
