Responsibilities
Assist with planning, budgeting implementing investigation and remediation projects, quality, and client satisfaction
Assist with preparing and/or implementing remediation designs and strategies for soil, sediment, and groundwater remediation projects
Assist with mentoring of junior staff
Provide senior technical guidance and direction to mid-level and junior level staff
Assist with work plan development, data evaluation, and technical report writing on a variety of contaminated site assessment, remediation, and operations and maintenance projects
Reviewing written document as part of production
Preparing for and participating in meetings with clients, regulatory personnel, and other parties
At times, job may also include fieldwork including assisting with drilling oversight
Drive personal, company, and rental vehicles to client or company project or office sites, and other business locations, as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in environmental, civil or chemical engineering, geology, environmental science, or a related field of study
Professional certification (i.e., P.E./P.G./LSP)
At least 15 years of direct environmental consulting experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Detailed understanding of soil and groundwater remediation regulations
Experience with multi-disciplinary project teams
Ability to succeed in a fast-paced consulting environment, handling multiple project assignments, meeting strict deadlines, and traveling to client facilities as needed
Valid U.S. driver's license and a satisfactory driving record for business travel
Preferred
Advanced degree in a similar field of study
Current OSHA 40-hr HAZWOPER training and refreshers
