Responsibilities
Design retrieval, grounding, and validation pipelines for complex financial data
Build tools for knowledge extraction from trade documents and term sheets
Integrate AI reasoning into workflows for settlement, valuation, and risk management
Work closely with financial engineers to enhance data consistency across trade lifecycles
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Financial Engineering, or a related field
Strong proficiency in Python
Proficiency in prompt engineering and structured output generation (JSON, Pydantic schemas)
Experience with cloud providers and deployment tools (Terraform/CDK)
A strong understanding of both traditional and AI-specific SDLC and software design principles
Ability to work in-person at our NYC office
Preferred
Java knowledge is a plus
Experience with RAG pipelines, vector databases, or fine-tuning LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini)
Experience building AI agents for financial data tasks
Understanding of derivative data models and trade representations
Familiarity with frameworks like LangChain, PydanticAI, or LlamaIndex
