Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair a wide variety of CNC machinery and misc. facility equipment. Mechanic must be able to apply hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical expertise and troubleshooting aptitude to maximize equipment uptime
Performs preventive and predictive maintenance procedures on equipment and reports findings regarding additional work and repairs to leadership
Coordinates and/or performs assigned work. Works with contractors and other maintenance personnel, if necessary, to ensure repairs are made properly and with minimum impact on operations
Maintains open communications with supervision and customer department personnel. Documents all activities and departmental procedural requirements
Performs other duties as required

Required

High school diploma preferred, formal technical training is a plus
A minimum of 1-year documented experience in a maintenance skilled trade related to the intended assignment maintenance experience, or apprenticeship, in a related additional applicable trade or skill set
Ability to read and write the English language
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment
Applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15)
