Start in 2026 SummerRoche is seeking a highly motivated Summer Intern for their High-Throughput Automation Technologies team. The intern will gain hands-on experience with lab automation workflows, collaborate with experts to design robotics workflows, and implement automation solutions to enhance decision-making processes in the development of AAV therapies.

Responsibilities
Gain hands-on experience with complex lab automation workflows
Work alongside Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to design and implement complex robotics workflows
Build and optimize data pipelines integrated into robotics platforms to accelerate the decision making process
Collaborate across the organization to implement automation solutions that accelerate the pipeline
Qualification
Required
Must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (enrolled student)
Must have attained a Bachelor's Degree (not currently enrolled in a graduate program)
Must be pursuing a Master's Degree (enrolled student)
Chemical engineering, bioengineering, biochemistry, biology, data science or other related life science areas
Self-motivated to learn and innovate
Strong organizational skills and detailed documentation abilities
Proficiency in data processing and analysis using tools such as Microsoft Excel with ability to interpret complex data sets
Demonstrated strong customer focus and ability to collaborate across disciplines
Preferred
Proficiency in at least one programming language is strongly preferred (e.g. C#, Python, R, Matlab, or Visual Basic)
Basic knowledge of laboratory automation hardware and software such as Tecan or Hamilton platforms is a bonus
Knowledge of cell biology is preferred
Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
