Wealth Planning Principal

The Wealth Planning Principal will act as a strategic advisor, working closely with clients to analyze their financial scenarios and develop personalized financial plans that drive long-term success.

Financial Services

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Trust Principals and Investment Principals to ascertain the current financial situation of clients, as well as their short-term and long-term financial goals
Assess the ability to meet goals and objectives through analyzing net worth, cash flow, insurance coverage, investments, and tax strategies. Create and present a written financial plan, illustrating the benefits and disadvantages of various options to the client. Assist in implementing the plan’s strategies
Maintain client databases to track information related to client financial plans and special projects
Perform special analyses as required by a client’s unique circumstance or as requested by colleagues
Analyze 529 college savings plans, Roth IRA conversions, Social Security benefits, Long Term Care options/necessity, Stock Option decisions, and coordinate life insurance and annuity contract review
Counsel and support clients on various issues with an impact on personal finances
Participate in Trust Administrative Committee (TAC), staff, Prospect, and Center of Influence meetings as requested
Prepare periodic review of vendor software
Maintain professional licensure by completing continuing education requirements
Performs other duties, including special projects, as assigned by executive leadership

Qualification

CPAJD designationFinancial planning experienceCertified Financial PlannerAccountingFinance degreeMicrosoft Office proficiencySales Force proficiencyMoney Guide Pro proficiencyNavi Plan proficiency

Required

CPA or JD designation required
4-year degree in Accounting or Finance
5-10 years minimum financial experience in trust administration, wealth management organizations, or public accounting
Proficient knowledge and use of Microsoft Office, Sales Force, Money Guide Pro, and Navi Plan

Preferred

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
Certified Financial Planner desirable
