Vice President, Strategic Sales

Lead and oversee Diagonal Finance Society’s global strategic sales strategy, aligning revenue objectives with corporate growth priorities
Define sales positioning, value propositions, and commercial frameworks across fintech solutions and financial services offerings
Establish clear revenue targets, sales pipelines, and performance management structures
Ensure sales strategy supports long-term client value, retention, and enterprise growth
Drive acquisition of institutional and enterprise clients, including financial institutions, asset managers, fintech platforms, and strategic partners
Build and manage senior-level relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
Lead complex, consultative sales processes involving multi-product, multi-jurisdictional solutions
Strengthen Diagonal Finance Society’s reputation as a trusted, long-term strategic partner
Design and execute go-to-market strategies in collaboration with marketing, product, and executive leadership
Translate product and platform capabilities into compelling commercial narratives for institutional clients
Develop sales enablement tools, playbooks, and messaging frameworks to support consistent execution
Align sales efforts with market segmentation, pricing strategies, and product roadmaps
Support geographic expansion across North America and other priority markets through targeted sales initiatives
Identify new revenue opportunities through partnerships, ecosystem alliances, and strategic distribution channels
Collaborate with regional and functional leaders to adapt sales strategies to local regulatory and market dynamics
Enable scalable growth through repeatable sales models and strategic account planning
Ensure sales activities align with regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and internal governance frameworks
Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to support complex institutional engagements
Assess commercial, operational, and reputational risks associated with strategic sales initiatives
Promote disciplined deal structuring and approval processes
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing global sales organization
Foster a performance-driven, accountable, and collaborative sales culture
Develop talent pipelines, leadership succession, and capability-building programs
Align sales teams with Diagonal Finance Society’s values of integrity, transparency, and long-term partnership
Qualification
Required
20+ years of progressive experience in strategic sales, business development, or revenue leadership within fintech, financial services, or capital markets
Proven success in closing complex, high-value institutional or enterprise sales
Strong understanding of fintech solutions, financial markets, and consultative sales models
Experience working closely with executive leadership, boards, and senior institutional stakeholders
Exceptional negotiation, communication, and commercial execution skills
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field required
Preferred
MBA or advanced degree preferred
