Mid LevelAirbus Operations GmbH is looking for a Functional Electric Design Responsible to support the department of Functional Electric within Fuselage Engineering. The role involves conducting functional electric studies, managing subcontractors, and coordinating cross-functional interactions to ensure high-quality results in electrical system installations for the Single Aisle family.

Responsibilities
Conduct functional electric studies, including feasibility investigations and documentation of design data
Steer subcontractors to ensure high-quality results and on-time delivery of engineering packages
Coordinate cross-functional interactions between system design, installation, and production
Support technical and operational projects at a transnational level
Drive continuous improvement of processes, methodologies, and tools, specifically integrating Siemens CAPITAL
Assist in the certification process and work toward obtaining delegation as a Technical Approver
Qualification
Required
Degree or technician certification in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field
Experience in aircraft systems, ideally within the Single Aisle perimeter
Profound knowledge of electrical system installation, functional design principles, and design guidelines
Motivation for subcontractor coordination and project management with a focus on time, quality, and cost drivers
Business fluency in English and advanced proficiency in German
Preferred
Ideally proficiency in technical tools such as Siemens CAPITAL, TAKSY, CCD + DVO, -Brows, erICC ACP / CADBAPS, AIRINA / DOCMASTER, DQN in SAP, IDV/MFB, EBAM
