Responsibilities
Conduct linear and non-linear structural analysis, including:
Seismic time history & response spectrum analysis
Harmonic & random vibration analysis
Pushover analysis
Design steel, reinforced, and precast concrete structures (buildings, dams, power plants, foundations, and equipment supports)
Apply structural codes and standards: ACI 318/349, AISC 360/341, ASCE 4/7/43, ASME Section III, B31.1/31.3, IEEE 344, etc
Use software tools such as: ANSYS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, GT-Strudl, ABAQUS, Revit, AutoCAD, Mathcad, MATLAB
Prepare technical design reports and calculations
Occasionally travel for project site visits or team meetings
Qualification
Required
B.S. or M.S. in Structural or Civil Engineering (M.S. preferred)
E.I.T. certification required; P.E. license preferred
Strong skills in seismic analysis and structural modeling using ANSYS
Ability to manage multiple technical projects independently
U.S. citizenship required (due to project scope)
Preferred
Minimum 3 -5 years of structural engineering experience preferred
