Sr Staff Site IT Manager
GE Aerospace is a leading company in the aviation sector, seeking a Sr Staff Site IT Manager to oversee IT infrastructure and software applications for a manufacturing plant. Responsibilities
Responsible for a complex site (multiple part families) or specific business need (e.g., military) or large site (>500 employees)
Sets IT strategy & roadmap to drive digital improvements across the site
Influences SPB employees and below on their decisions
Performs as part of the Shop leadership team representing information technology
Partners with the business to participate in lean/ process improvement initiatives & enable business transformation leveraging digital tools
Leads in the evaluation / implementation/ modification of various software solutions, including ERP, MES & Analytics solutions
Works with central digital product teams to resolve systemic recurring issues or enhancement needs
Directs a local team of digital resources
Drives strategic digital initiatives
Initiates and coordinates outsourced supplier efforts
Applicable LPB1 level items
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 6 years of professional experience OR associates degree with minimum of 8 years of professional experience
5+ years demonstrated expertise working in IT Site support/leadership
