Responsibilities
Provide day to day operational management of multiple active IT projects already in progress
Report directly to the IT Director and align execution with leadership priorities
Manage projects related to application migration, data warehouse updates, and reporting remediation
Break existing work into clear milestones and deliverables
Develop and maintain executable project plans and schedules
Coordinate work across business analysts, developers, SMEs, and consultants
Mentor business analysts on documentation and project discipline
Facilitate project meetings using Microsoft Teams
Schedule and manage meetings using Microsoft Outlook
Provide concise and accurate status reporting to executive leadership
Identify risks, dependencies, and decision points early
Drive timely issue resolution and escalation when needed
Ensure documentation is complete and suitable for audit review
Reinforce consistent project management practices across the portfolio
Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
PMP certification required
5 years of hands-on IT project management experience required
Demonstrated experience taking overactive or distressed projects required
Proven ability to drive immediate execution required
Experience managing multiple concurrent technology projects required
Strong delivery focused project management background required
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Teams required
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Outlook required
High level of organization and attention to detail required
Strong written and verbal communication skills required
Preferred
8 years of Senior level IT project management experience highly desired
Experience managing complex, in-flight IT projects highly desired
Experience with application migrations or modernization efforts highly desired
Experience with data warehouse or reporting projects highly desired
Experience mentoring business analysts or junior PMs highly desired
Experience working in public sector or highly visible environments highly desired
