Responsibilities
Serve as District's dam safety expert
Serve as District's expert geotechnical specialist and leader in geotechnical design and construction and serves other Cors Districts as geotechnical engineering expert
Specifically with particular emphasis on seismic design/analysis and seepage of earth embankments and levees
Provides authoritative geotechnical engineering expertise during natural disasters
Qualification
Required
Professional Engineer or Geotechnical Engineer license is required
Minimum Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree (or higher) in engineering or Combination of Education and Experience
All positions require the applicant to be a citizen of the United States
Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, are required to register for Selective Service prior to appointment
A trial or probationary period may be required
Direct deposit of pay is required
The incumbent is required to file an OGE Form 450, Financial Disclosure Report upon entering on duty in this position and annually thereafter
