Responsibilities
Maintains the overall function of the reception area of the Office of the Controller. Greets visitors, responds to all incoming calls and answers any routine inquiries
Provides administrative support for the Office of the Controller, including coordination of events and meetings
Manages internal and external correspondence and documents, including receiving and distribution of departmental mail
Maintains and updates the Office of the Controller departmental calendars
Serves as a point of contact for the processing of travel requests and expense reimbursements
Serves as the point of contact for ordering, receiving, and maintaining commodity items/supplies and ensures departmental purchases, as well as University credit card purchases, are in compliance with established policies and procedures
Assists with the coordination and maintenance of the records retention process for the Office of the Controller in accordance with the University's records retention policy
Assists with special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Six (6) years of office or related experience coordinating functions of an office or department
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters
Ability to work flexible hours as needed
Preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
