Akkodis Group Nordics is seeking a Solution Architect for a contract role in Las Vegas, NV. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing enterprise-level solution architecture, including high-level design documents and microservice-based APIs, while guiding development teams through agile delivery.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain solution architecture and high-level design documents aligned with business and technical requirements
Design microservices architecture and REST-based APIs, ensuring scalability and security
Collaborate with product managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders to shape product roadmaps and deliver new features
Lead implementation teams, translating business requirements into technical specifications and guiding agile development processes
Conduct proof-of-concept (POC) evaluations for emerging technologies and recommend adoption strategies
Promote reuse and standardization through inner sourcing opportunities and enforce architecture governance and lifecycle standards

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field
8+ years of experience in solution architecture and software design
Expertise in designing microservices architecture and REST-based APIs with strong knowledge of major architecture patterns
Proven experience with AWS services, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift), and Java frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot)
