Sterling Engineering is seeking a detail-oriented Quality / Metrology Technician to support mold audits, dimensional inspection, and measurement system integrity for new and modified molds. This role plays a key part in ensuring product quality by performing precise measurements and maintaining calibrated equipment.

Responsibilities

Perform mold audits on parts from new or modified molds

Log incoming mold audits into the mold audit database

Conduct dimensional measurements and enter inspection data into computer systems

Calibrate and maintain all measuring equipment used for product release and requirement validation

Maintain and update the equipment calibration database

Perform Measurement System Analysis (MSA) on gages and measurement techniques

Conduct capability studies on mold audit submissions as required

Initiate Corrective Action Requests (CARs) related to calibration equipment and verify completion

Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot Smart Scope programs

Design and develop fixtures to support Smart Scope inspections

Required

Experience with mold audits, dimensional inspection, or metrology

Strong understanding of measurement systems, calibration, and gage control

Hands-on experience with Smart Scope programming and fixturing (highly preferred)
