Responsibilities
Leads IT strategy and vision by aligning technology initiatives with business goals, ensuring IT delivers measurable value to the Company, its customers, and employees while supporting long-term growth
Champions innovation and continuous improvement, proactively evaluating and adopting emerging technologies to improve competitiveness, operational efficiency, and business outcomes
Provides executive oversight of IT operations, ensuring systems are reliable, secure, resilient, and performance-driven, with strong disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities
Serves as a trusted strategic advisor to executive leadership and key stakeholders, fostering collaborative relationships and translating business needs into effective, scalable technology solutions
Oversees IT financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, vendor strategy, and investment prioritization, to maximize return on investment and support sustainable growth
Oversees IT risk management, including cybersecurity, data protection, compliance, and third-party risk, while maintaining robust governance frameworks and internal controls
Enhances customer and employee experiences by delivering technology solutions that streamline workflows, empower employees, and anticipate customer needs, reinforcing loyalty and brand strength
Inspires and develops high-performing IT teams, fostering a culture of caring, inclusivity, accountability, and continuous learning through effective coaching, performance management, and career development
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology; Master's degree preferred
10+ years of extensive experience in information technology, with at least 5 years of senior leadership experience in IT; experience in grocery retail technology a plus
Proven experience in IT strategic planning and policy development
Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies and practices
Formal training in and practice of project management tools; experience in executing complex IT projects from vision through implementation
In-depth knowledge of technology security and cyber-attack defenses
Prior knowledge of best practices in auditing, including HIPAA, HITECH, PCI is highly desirable
Highly proficient in contract negotiations, contract maintenance, and vendor management
Strong business acumen and excellent analytical skills, with the ability to make decisions involving many variables
