Senior Accountant - Non-Profit
Ledgent is a non-profit organization located near downtown LA seeking a Senior Accountant. The role involves account reconciliation, general ledger management, and working with grant funding sources, as well as preparing fiscal reports and assisting with audits.
Responsibilities
Account/bank reconciliation
General ledger management
Working with grant funding sources on billing
Applying grant payments
Month/year-end closes
Journal entry preparation
Analyze balance sheets
Handle project expense management
Assist with budget development
Prepare fiscal reports
Assist with audits
Ad hoc projects and administrative tasks
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration or related discipline is required
At least four years of general accounting experience (i.e., general ledger management, journal entry preparation, account reconciliation, month-end assistance, etc.)
Non-profit industry is required
Advanced Excel
Must have very good time management and communication skills
