Responsibilities
Lead the integration and configuration of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software while developing custom application layers to ensure seamless data flow
Maintain and enhance the Scientific Services Platform (SSP) utilizing a serverless architecture
Support the BESST (Biological Entities Sequence Store) across its service, sequence, and business layers
Manage development and configuration for PPM (Clarizen) to streamline project management workflows
Quickly learn and implement new languages, frameworks, and technologies as project requirements evolve
Qualification
Required
Independent worker who thrives in a technical environment that blends modern cloud architecture with complex biological data systems
Lead the integration and configuration of Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software while developing custom application layers to ensure seamless data flow
Maintain and enhance the Scientific Services Platform (SSP) utilizing a serverless architecture
Support the BESST (Biological Entities Sequence Store) across its service, sequence, and business layers
Manage development and configuration for PPM (Clarizen) to streamline project management workflows
Quickly learn and implement new languages, frameworks, and technologies as project requirements evolve
Strong grasp of coding standards, requirement/defect tracking, and rigorous testing protocols
Proficiency with source code repositories, with specific experience in GIT being highly preferred
Solid understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) workflows
Practical experience with Lambda, Step Functions, and API Gateway
Proven track record in complex systems implementation and integration
Preferred
A background in Science (Biology, Chemistry, or related fields) is considered a significant plus
