Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end technical project delivery across banking platforms, applications, and infrastructure initiatives
Partner closely with engineering, architecture, DevOps, and QA teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
Assist with technical solution planning, dependency management, and risk mitigation
Track and manage project scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables using Agile, Hybrid, or Waterfall methodologies
Act as a primary point of contact for business stakeholders, technology leads, vendors, and senior leadership
Translate business requirements into technical execution plans
Facilitate steering committee meetings, status reviews, and executive updates
Manage multiple initiatives as part of a broader technology portfolio
Support prioritization, roadmap planning, and resource allocation across projects
Provide visibility into portfolio-level risks, dependencies, and milestones
Ensure adherence to banking governance, compliance, audit, and SDLC standards
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including architecture artifacts, decisions, and delivery playbooks
Lead knowledge archiving and transition activities to ensure operational continuity and reuse of best practices
Identify and manage technical, operational, and regulatory risks
Ensure compliance with banking standards related to security, data privacy, resiliency, and controls
Support audits, regulatory reviews, and internal control assessments
Qualification
Required
Strong experience in Technical Project Management within Banking or Financial Services
Proven expertise in stakeholder management at senior and executive levels
Hands-on experience with portfolio management and multi-project coordination
Strong ability to assist and guide technical delivery teams without being purely hands-on
Solid understanding of Application development (SDLC)
Solid understanding of Infrastructure & cloud concepts
Solid understanding of APIs, integrations, and data flows
Experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, and Waterfall methodologies
Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Azure DevOps, or similar
Experience working in Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Payments, Risk, Compliance, or Treasury environments
Understanding of regulatory requirements, audits, and control frameworks (SOX, SOC, etc.)
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Strong organizational and leadership abilities
Ability to work under pressure in regulated, high-visibility environments
Proactive, detail-oriented, and solution-focused mindset
Preferred
PMP, SAFe, Scrum Master, or Agile certifications
Experience managing vendor-led or offshore delivery models
Exposure to digital banking transformations, core banking modernization, or cloud migration programs
