InternMBH Architects is seeking a highly organized and versatile individual to join their Summer Internship Program as a Technical Architectural Intern. The intern will conduct research into building codes, participate in quality control checks, prepare technical drawings, and assist with code compliance reviews during the 9-week program.

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive research into local, state, and national building codes to ensure project designs align with regulatory standards
Participate in rigorous quality control (QC) checks of construction documents to identify discrepancies, ensure technical accuracy, and maintain firm-wide standards
Prepare and finalize technical drawings in Revit, focusing on construction details
Assist in performing detailed code compliance reviews and zoning analyses for various project phases, documenting findings
Attend team meetings, site visits, lunch & learns, and other presentations as part of the intern cohort
Create an internship presentation based on a project completed during the program, present to the organization
Qualification
Required
Current student participating in an Architecture program or related (bachelor's degree, master's degree, or technical training program)
Ability to work on site in our Alameda office for the duration of the program
Deep interest in the technical lifecycle of a project, specifically regarding code-driven design solutions and the rigorous accuracy of construction documentation
Preferred
Experience utilizing Bluebeam or Revit for technical markups and document auditing
