They are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to support a financial services program by building Tableau dashboards, analyzing datasets using SQL, and contributing to data governance.
Responsibilities
Analyze complex datasets and deliver high-quality dashboards and reports using SQL, Tableau Desktop, and Tableau Prep
Extract and transform data from multiple sources to create reliable tables and semantic layers for analytics
Build, monitor, and troubleshoot ETL processes to ensure accurate and timely reporting outputs
Manage and enhance existing Tableau dashboards; serve as a subject-matter resource on underlying metrics and data definitions
Partner with business and IT stakeholders to define requirements and deliver actionable BI solutions that meet business needs
Contribute to data stewardship by helping define business terms, metrics, and data quality standards in governance tools
Document and present findings, deliverables, and status updates to technical and non-technical audiences
Work within Scrum teams using JIRA; participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent experience
4+ years of hands-on data analysis experience
Financial industry experience required
Strong proficiency with SQL and Tableau (Desktop and Prep) working with large datasets
Experience building or maintaining ETL pipelines and delivering production-grade dashboards
Clear, concise communication skills and the ability to present insights to varied audiences
Preferred
Experience with Snowflake
Experience with data governance tools such as Ataccama or Collibra
Experience with R or Python for analytics and automation
Familiarity with consumer lending products and lifecycles (auto, personal loan, credit card)
Exposure to semantic layers, AI-to-SQL, or LLM-assisted analytics
