Personal Financial Planning Instructor - UCLA Extension
UCLA Extension is considered one of the top programs of its kind, offering to more than 35,000 students per year approximately 4,500 classes and non-degree certificate programs. They are looking for instructors who can primarily teach in-person courses in Personal Financial Planning, focusing on providing students with the knowledge and tools required to prepare comprehensive financial plans and skills necessary to pass the CFP Board Exam.
Education Management
Responsibilities
Developing the course content including videos and assignments as applicable
Identifying a textbook or course materials and establishing a grading standard
Presenting course content to students in written material, lectures or discussions, video recordings and through feedback on assignments
Engaging students through activities, real world examples, and case-based exercises
Grading and verifying the textbook being used, updating materials and the syllabus as needed
Qualification
Required
Professional will have hands on experience in the Wealth Management Field
Teaching Experience
Advanced degree
Must be committed to the highest level of academic standards and integrity
Highly effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to convey conceptual and complex ideas and information
Highly effective interpersonal skills
Proficiency in (or willingness to learn) the use of instructional technology and online teaching tools
Comfort in dealing with international professionals and students
