Part-Time Administrative Assistant
Farnsworth Group is a nationally recognized architectural, engineering, and surveying firm, and they are seeking a Part-Time Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will provide technical and office support to engineers, architects, and technicians, working 12-16 hours per week.
Design
Responsibilities
Support project teams by preparing, editing, formatting, and assembling project manuals, reports, communication documents, and other deliverables
Proofread and assist with technical documents, plans, and specifications
Maintain project files and documentation to support project progress
Manage front desk duties: greet visitors, answer phones, and respond to general inquiries
Support office operations: maintain supply inventory (office/kitchen), prepare shared spaces daily, coordinate vendor services, and assist with office maintenance requests
Manage shipping and deliveries (UPS/FedEx/USPS), including labeling, tracking, and courier coordination
Assist with internal scheduling, conference room coordination, and office calendar updates
Support business development and internal events as needed (format SOQs/resumes, track contacts/outreach, assist with client visits and office events)
Help with onboarding coordination and office updates (packets, instructions, staff lists/org charts)
Assist with tracking company vehicle maintenance and logs (as needed)
Qualification
Required
Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to multitask and meet deadlines
Preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
0–3 years of administrative experience (A/E, legal, or construction preferred)
