INTERDISCIPLINARY - Electrical Engineer/Electronics Engineer
USAJOBS is seeking an Interdisciplinary Electrical Engineer/Electronics Engineer at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. The primary purpose of this position is to develop and implement effective exploitation tradecraft for foreign EM/EW systems, including providing training and mentoring junior personnel.

Responsibilities
Develops, implements, and provides training on exploitation tradecraft for foreign EM/EW systems and emerging technologies
Defines project objectives and develops exploitation plans to meet customer requirements
Generates high-quality products for dissemination to customers, internal Squadron consumption, and knowledge management

U.S. Citizenship Required
All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period
Must be registered for Selective Service
The employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays
Employee must maintain current certifications
Direct Deposit: All federal employees are required to have direct deposit
A Bachelor's degree in a related field of study such as electrical and/or electronics engineering is required
Polygraph: Incumbent may be required to undergo a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination
The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments
This is an Interdisciplinary position that may be filled as an Electrical Engineer GG-0850-13; or Electronics Engineer GG-0855-13
Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position
Professional knowledge of a wide range of concepts, principles, and practices in electrical engineering and/or computer engineering, as well as scientific concepts, principles, standards, methods, techniques, practices, and procedures
Knowledge of project management principles is required, including defining project objectives, developing exploitation plans, and leading multidisciplinary teams
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of EM/EW systems, including radar, communications, and navigation systems, as well as emerging technologies such as hypersonic systems, advanced sensors, and cyber warfare capabilities
Knowledge of Department of the Air Force (DAF), Department of Defense (DoD), National Air and Space Intelligence Center (NASIC), and national-level doctrine, regulations, policies, guidelines, requirements, and initiatives related to assigned program(s) and/or project(s)
Skill in implementing security practices and managing classified information; analyze and solve complex problems with attention to detail
Skill in establishing and maintaining effective relationships, negotiating complex issues, and resolving conflicts based on mature judgment, experience, and recognized professional standing
Ability to communicate effectively with others, both orally and in writing, and to work out solutions to problems or questions related to the work
Preferred
A Master's degree in a related field of study such as electrical and/or electronics engineering is highly desired
