VP of STINGER Brand and Roofing Wholesale Channel
National Nail is a global employee-owned company that is industry-leading and innovative. The VP of STINGER Brand and Roofing Wholesale Channel will lead roofing sales operations, develop strategies to drive revenue growth, and manage the STINGER sales team while collaborating with other departments for cohesive product launch strategies.
Responsibilities
Developing and executing comprehensive roofing/siding distributor sales strategies, setting revenue targets, and creating sales forecasts
Managing and motivating the STINGER sales teams, providing guidance, training, and performance management to ensure team success
Overseeing all aspects of STINGER sales team including customer sales analysis, forecasting and promotional activity
Conducting market, installer and desktop research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive pricing and new product activities, and potential growth opportunities
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key roofing and siding customers, partners, and stakeholders
Tracking and analyzing sales data, preparing reports, and presenting findings to executive leadership
Developing and managing the STINGER sales department budget, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost control
Working closely with marketing, product development, supply chain and other departments to align sales strategies with overall business objectives. Fosters a collaborative culture built on accountability, recognition and professional growth

Qualification
Required
10+ years of experience in the building materials industry required, with experience managing omni-channel accounts
10+ years of direct roofing senior sales experience with key national accounts including SRS, ABC Supply and QXO
Strong category knowledge or previous responsibility with large regional roofing distributors, installers and builders
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and Google platforms
30-50% travel required
Bachelor's degree required

Ability to connect quickly with people, cultivate, and expand high-value relationships with key stakeholders in the roofing and siding distribution channels including Buyers, Product/Category Managers, VP or Senior VP's
Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the roofing industry, market trends, and competitor activities. Proven success leading and developing teams
Preferred
Knowledge in roofing, siding and/or construction fasteners is preferred
Ideally located in Michigan, Texas, Florida, Georgia, or North Carolina
