Senior Project Manager - Transformation

Responsibilities
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex transformation initiatives from conception through implementation - as scoped, on-time, and within budget
Develop project scopes, roadmaps, timelines, RAIDs, communication plans, and measurable success criteria
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and on-time delivery
Manage budgets, resourcing, dependencies, and change-management requirements across all phases
Support platform modernization efforts, including the evaluation and implementation of technology (e.g., unified platforms, AI-enabled review tools, workflow solutions)
Ensure transformation initiatives align with overall service line and firm strategy, quality priorities, and risk mitigation frameworks
Serve as a trusted strategic partner to Assurance leadership, providing visibility into project progress, risks, and impacts
Facilitate workshops, working sessions, and updates with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders
Develop clear communication materials, dashboards, and presentations that translate complex concepts into concise, executive-ready narratives
Lead change management planning including training, communications, adoption strategies, and post-implementation support
Monitor adoption metrics and user feedback to ensure sustained success and continuous improvement
Accurately forecast project expenses, manage actuals within an appropriate variance of project budget, and coordinate with financial teams on budget
Qualification
Required

Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, program management, or product management
A bachelor's degree in business management, technology management, or a related field
Experience using Smartsheet for managing projects is required
College Degree or equivalent required
8 years related experience
Expert technical knowledge
Knowledge of industry regulations
Ability to lead and coordinate the team activities of others
Ability to formulate, document and recommend new policies and procedures
Able to work in and lead a team
Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of an organization, both internally and externally
Ability to travel as required by business and on-call availability
Preferred
PMP certification is preferred
Professional experience within public accounting, audit/assurance, or a regulated professional services environment is preferred
Demonstrated success leading complex transformation initiatives or large-scale operational/process improvement projects - across multiple US and non-US locations through forming, storming, norming, and performing phases
Strong understanding of audit or tax workflows, methodology, risk assessment, engagement life cycle, and quality drivers is preferred
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment
Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data and improve operational performance
High comfort navigating ambiguity, balancing competing priorities, and leading through change
Must be able to lead and direct large project teams across multiple US and non-US locations through forming, storming, norming, and performing phases
Must be able to lead sprint planning sessions and guide teams new to Agile
Experience configuring and customizing Smartsheet is preferred
Knowledge of common business operations applications such as CRM and ERP, is preferred
