Electrical Engineer
GeoLogics Corporation is seeking an Advanced Electrical Engineer for a role focused on designing and developing analog circuits. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct testing and troubleshooting, and provide technical support during the manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
Design and develop analog circuits, including amplifiers, filters, power supplies, and signal conditioning circuits
Perform circuit simulations and analyses to ensure designs meet performance and reliability requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications
Create and maintain detailed documentation of designs, including schematics, test plans, and reports
Conduct testing and troubleshooting of prototypes and final products to verify functionality and performance
Provide technical support during the manufacturing process and assist with design reviews
Stay current with the latest industry trends and advancements in analog technology
Qualification
Required
U.S. citizenship is required
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field
5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience
Design and develop analog circuits, including amplifiers, filters, power supplies, and signal conditioning circuits
Perform circuit simulations and analyses to ensure designs meet performance and reliability requirements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and specifications
Create and maintain detailed documentation of designs, including schematics, test plans, and reports
Conduct testing and troubleshooting of prototypes and final products to verify functionality and performance
Provide technical support during the manufacturing process and assist with design reviews
Stay current with the latest industry trends and advancements in analog technology
Preferred
Expertise in power system design: AC/DC; DC/DC: Buck, Boost, LDO
Proficiency with communication protocols such as CAN, SPI, I2C, and Ethernet
Experience with multilayer PCB design
Design of safety significant circuits
Background in automotive, medical, or defense industries
Proficiency in VHDL for hardware description and design
Experience in high-speed digital design
