Litigation Attorney
Dojnia Staffing is seeking an experienced, dedicated, and versatile Commercial/Business Litigation Attorney to join our client's dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will handle a broad spectrum of litigation matters, providing expert legal counsel, managing case strategies, and representing clients in court proceedings.
Responsibilities
Manage all phases of litigation cases from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, motions, negotiations, and trial preparation
Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case strategies and ensure compliance with current laws and regulations
Draft clear, precise legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and settlement agreements
Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and other legal proceedings
Advise clients on a wide range of legal issues spanning estate planning, environmental law, family law, landlord-tenant disputes, securities law, workers' compensation law, personal injury claims, tribal law & regulations, patent law, and immigration law
Develop effective negotiation strategies to achieve favorable outcomes for clients while maintaining professionalism
Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to provide comprehensive legal solutions tailored to client needs
Maintain meticulous case files and documentation in accordance with legal administrative standards
Stay current with evolving laws and industry trends through continuous research and professional development
Support the firm’s administrative functions by managing deadlines and ensuring compliance with court procedures
Qualification
Required
Proven experience in litigation - 5 plus years
Strong research skills utilizing LexisNexis and Westlaw platforms for effective case analysis
Excellent legal drafting and writing skills with attention to detail
Demonstrated negotiation skills capable of securing advantageous resolutions
Familiarity with legal administrative processes and case management software
Ability to interpret complex laws and regulations accurately
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously
Effective communication skills for client interaction and courtroom advocacy
Knowledge of legal research techniques and tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw
Experience working within a professional law office environment
