Oracle EBS Consultant (WMS)
Ampstek is seeking an Oracle EBS Consultant specializing in Warehouse Management Systems. The role involves providing functional and technical support for Oracle E-Business Suite modules, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with operational teams to enhance system performance and user experience.
Responsibilities
Provide daily support for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) modules, including:
Troubleshoot and resolve high-priority issues impacting production, material movement, picking, staging, packing, and shipping activities
Perform root cause analysis and coordinate fixes with other teams when required
Monitor interface errors and transactional failures; resolve or escalate appropriately
Be physically present in key operational areas such as:
Work closely with users to understand issues in real time
Validate system transactions directly at the point of activity (e.g., scanning stations, handheld devices, packing stations)
Serve as the primary IT point of contact for plant operations teams
Gather requirements for system enhancements or process improvements
Communicate clearly with end-users during critical system issues and provide timely updates
Collaborate with global IT, Oracle support teams, and business SMEs when needed
Support testing during patch updates, system upgrades, and new feature deployments
Create user guides, SOPs, and quick-reference materials for plant personnel
Conduct training sessions for new users or when new functionalities are introduced
Identify recurring issues and propose process or configuration improvements
Evaluate opportunities to optimize warehouse and shipping flows through system enhancements
Qualification
Required
10 years of experience
Oracle Apps techno functional with Manufacturing and WMS domain experience
Provide daily support for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) modules, including Manufacturing (WIP, BOM, MRP), Warehouse Management / Inventory, Shipping Execution
Troubleshoot and resolve high-priority issues impacting production, material movement, picking, staging, packing, and shipping activities
Perform root cause analysis and coordinate fixes with other teams when required
Monitor interface errors and transactional failures; resolve or escalate appropriately
Be physically present in key operational areas such as Production floor, Shipping docks, Warehouse and storage areas
