Responsibilities
Manage product filings and coordinate directly with state regulators, including presenting and negotiating on behalf of the company
Handle annual and ad hoc state and federal reporting requirements
Provide advice and compliance guidance to internal partners, including Product Development, Customer Service, and Distribution teams
Analyze and interpret state and federal laws and regulations, updating internal resources as needed
Conduct legislative and regulatory research on insurance-related topics, ensuring timely responses to inquiries and maintaining compliance across all forms and business practices
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and insurance industry experience required
4–6 years of insurance experience, ideally across multiple product lines (Life, Health and/or Pet Insurance)
Proven ability to analyze and interpret contract language and insurance regulations
Strong critical thinking, judgment, and decision-making skills
Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable managing priorities independently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in negotiations and regulatory discussions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
