Responsibilities
Lead the Civil Engineering Department based out of Jacksonville, FL
Oversee the strategic and technical direction of the firm's civil engineering practice as it relates to the Department of Defense projects
Ensure compliance with DoD-specific design standards and interdisciplinary coordination
Lead and grow a team dedicated to serving U.S. military clients
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineer (P.E.) License required
Fifteen (15) plus years of experience civil/site design
Proficiency in civil design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, HEC-RAS, InfoDrainage or similar
Familiarity with federal procurement methods, including DBB, DB, and ECI under FAR regulations
Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, permitting procedures, and codes
Travel to jobsites, as needed
Preferred
Master's degree in Civil Engineering
Some DoD or military infrastructure projects design experience
