Responsibilities
Develops project documentation including device lists and I/O lists
Commissions controls systems including device configuration and I/O checkout
Calibrates process devices with documentation
Troubleshoots process systems (software, hardware, electrical, and/or mechanical problems)
Troubleshoots control system networks
Gathers data as necessary for power system studies (short circuit analysis, arc flash, protective device coordination, etc.)
Able to multitask on multiple projects and project elements
Other functions as required by the project
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED plus 2 years of instrumentation experience OR bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or chemical engineering
Ability to multitask on multiple projects and project elements
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and Project
Preferred
Experience with Clean-in-Place (CIP) systems
Very proficient with Microsoft Excel and Outlook as well as experience with Microsoft Project
Experience with AutoCAD
Experience with some of the following Rockwell Automation software packages: RSLogix5, RSLogix500, RSLogix5000, and Studio5000
Experience in process device calibration and documentation using ProCalV5
Experience with some of the following networking protocols: EtherNet/IP, ControlNet, DeviceNet, Modbus RTU, Profibus PA, Profibus DP, Remote I/O (RIO), and Data Highway Plus (DH+)
Experience with Ethernet networking especially with Cisco devices. Configuration via Cisco Network Assistant or the command line is especially beneficial
