Responsibilities
Prepare transaction tax returns for timely monthly, quarterly, and annual filings
Collect and organize accounting and tax data to ensure compliance with tax regulations
Assist with tax compliance by researching applicable tax laws and regulations, providing guidance, and maintaining up-to-date tax information
Support sales tax audits by preparing required documentation and resolving discrepancies
Reconcile tax accounts, identify discrepancies, and ensure proper reporting
Utilize Vertex software to assist with tax calculations and filings
Maintain accurate records of tax filings and audit-related documentation
Provide data gathering support for monthly compliance tasks
Qualification
Required
1-3 years of experience in accounting or tax compliance
Familiarity with transaction tax filings and data gathering for monthly, quarterly, and annual filings
Ability to prepare transaction tax returns for timely monthly, quarterly, and annual filings
Skill in collecting and organizing accounting and tax data to ensure compliance with tax regulations
Experience in researching applicable tax laws and regulations
Ability to provide guidance and maintain up-to-date tax information
Experience in supporting sales tax audits by preparing required documentation and resolving discrepancies
Skill in reconciling tax accounts and identifying discrepancies
Ability to ensure proper reporting
Experience utilizing Vertex software to assist with tax calculations and filings
Ability to maintain accurate records of tax filings and audit-related documentation
Skill in providing data gathering support for monthly compliance tasks
