IT Facilities & Infrastructure Project Manager
New York Technology Partners is seeking an IT Facilities & Infrastructure Project Manager to lead corporate IT facilities and manufacturing projects. The role involves managing projects end-to-end, contributing to strategic discussions, and leveraging project management tools to drive project execution and delivery.
Responsibilities
Lead and facilitate regular project team meetings; coordinate teams, track action items, record and communicate minutes
Manage and prioritize multiple tasks while meeting project management deliverables
Drive schedule discussions and develop project schedules coordinating with vendors and internal teams
Plan, coordinate, and manage large IT initiatives, anticipating and mitigating risks
Provide operational insights using tools such as CAD Viewer, Visio, Bluebeam, and Lucidchart; expert use of Smartsheet/Excel/MS Project and PowerPoint for planning and tracking
Build integrated dashboards from multiple data sets using PPM tools (Anaplan, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project)
Manage and influence large cross-functional teams
Assist with deployment of the IT Project Management tools ecosystem; drive project maturity and discipline
Define and communicate target change schedules; provide inputs for demand management for IT facilities projects
Qualification
Required
12+ years of IT Facilities & Infrastructure Project Management/PMO experience
Hands-on experience with low voltage cabling, audio visual implementations, MDF & IDF design/implementation, network infrastructure setup, cellular DAS implementation
Vendor and budget management; ability to manage multiple large IT facilities projects
Experience driving project planning sessions, prioritizing based on ROI/business value, and clearly articulating business value to leadership
Strong communication skills; comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced technical environment
Experience with Agile/Scrum processes and best practices
Solid analytical mindset; ability to define and build dashboards for C-level executives
Strong prioritization and decision-making skills; self-starter who can drive projects to completion
Proven collaboration and teamwork across large cross-functional teams
Operate effectively in a high-energy, multicultural environment with minimal guidance; excellent communication required
Leverage project management tools such as Anaplan and Smartsheet; expert with Office 365; proficient with collaboration tools including Zoom, Cisco WebEx, and Slack
