Responsibilities
Prototype and develop cloud-native architecture solutions in AWS using services such as EC2, S3, DMS, IAM, Route53, RDS, VPC, Lambda, SQS, SNS, EKS, CloudWatch, API Gateway, Cognito, Kinesis, OpenSearch, and more
Implement and maintain infrastructure-as-code using tools like CloudFormation and Terraform
Design, manage, and maintain automation for operational tasks and processes
Develop and maintain roadmaps for AWS infrastructure updates and patches
Define and deploy monitoring, metrics, and logging systems
Support initiatives to improve system availability, scalability, and resilience (multi-AZ, multi-region, self-healing systems)
Stay current with AWS technologies and recommend tools and services for integration into RouteSmart environments
Automate software builds and deployments (CI/CD)
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Hands-on experience with automated infrastructure and infrastructure-as-code
Proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Python)
Understanding of REST APIs and JSON
Knowledge of AWS authentication and security best practices
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to visually present and communicate architecture and design
Collaborative mindset with a commitment to high-quality work and continuous learning
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Technology, or equivalent work experience
2-4 years of experience working with AWS; AWS certifications are a plus
Familiarity with modern development and operations methodologies
Preferred
Knowledge of serverless and containerization technologies is a plus
