Account Manager
IngreSearch is proud to be partnered with a leading, global Chemical Distributor to secure an Account Manager for their US Sales team. This role will be a key part of their growth plans and will focus on delivering growth in the Northeast Personal Care market as a primary objective.
Responsibilities
Maintenance of existing key accounts, ensuring high-level of customer service and attention to detail for continued growth of existing business
Proactive, business development strategy to research the market and identify new opportunities for growth
Secure and onboard new clients in Personal Care, focusing on key brands and manufacturing players
Acting as the primary point of contact for customers and internal teams across the assigned territory (Northeast USA)
Conduct on-site customer visits, technical meetings and promotional reviews
Liaise with management on sales strategy and report on forecasting and budgeting
Qualification
Required
Candidates must have a minimum of 3-5 years' previous Chemicals/Ingredients sales experience in the Personal Care sector
A hunter mindset and ability to be proactive are key as this is a predominately growth-focused developmental role
Demonstrated track record of building business and securing new clients, with an existing network of contacts to call upon
Willingness to travel and excellent communications skills for presentations and site visits
Degree level qualification and base technical knowledge of personal care products and ingredients
