Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and control systems, following local electrical codes and safety regulations
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues to ensure seamless operations for commercial clients
Work collaboratively with other team members and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure the safety and efficiency of electrical systems
Mentor and guide apprentice electricians, sharing your skills and expertise
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, prioritizing safety and minimizing disruptions for clients
Qualification
Required
Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent experience with at least 4 years in commercial electrical work
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, schematics, and specifications
Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and local building codes
Excellent communication skills with a focus on teamwork and client satisfaction
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to project sites in the NJ/NYC areas
An OSHA 40 certification is required for work in New Jersey, while a New York City DOB SST card is mandatory for work in New York City
Preferred
Experience with project management software such as Procore or CompanyCam is a plus; training is available
