Underwrite and manage a renewal portfolio across a mix of E&S casualty segments
Talk to brokers like a human being, not a robot following a script
Decide what’s worth renewing, what isn’t, and price accordingly
Help shape a renewal book that’s profitable •on purpose• — not by accident
Bring discipline, judgement, and a bit of backbone to the table
Qualification
Required
3+ years in casualty underwriting, ideally with real E&S renewal experience
Experience with admitted and non-admitted paper
A working brain (non-negotiable)
Ability to make decisions without a 14-person committee
Comfort working remotely
Enough entrepreneurial spirit to enjoy building instead of maintaining
A bias for action, not excuses
The ability to travel occasionally without making a big song and dance about it
