Responsibilities
Assist Design Engineering team with the creation of test plans, performing bench testing & creation of result reports
Assist as needed with system block diagrams and system DFMEAs
Assist with the design change process through creation and/or revision of documentation
Assisting with root cause analysis and issue resolution as requested
Assist with investigating alternative components for replacement and creating comparison tables showing pros & cons of parts considered vs current part
Gain exposure to design reviews, contributing material if asked
Comply with the designated ISO / TS 16949 responsibilities, Health & Safety (H&S) rules and practices
Perform any other assignments from time-to-time as management so directs
Treat everyone with dignity, trust, and respect
Qualification
Required
Willing to learn and contribute as a student engineer
Learn and contribute to resolving complex issues in creative, efficient, and effective ways
Flexible to work on assignments which may change with customer requirement updates
English: Fluent in written and verbal communication
Basic knowledge of testing and analysis of electronic circuits
Basic knowledge of electric motors and controls
Ability to read engineering drawings and electrical schematics
Ability to use testing equipment like oscilloscope, power supplies, DMM & electronic loads
On track to receive a bachelor degree in electrical engineering
Applicable experience outside the classroom, demonstrated knowledge outside classroom settings
Sitting and standing for extended periods of time in an office and industrial lab environment
Capable of lifting equipment and apparatus repetitively weighing between 25lbs to 30lbs
Potentially visit customer or vehicle test sites, if needed
In office at least 4-5 days a week
