Responsibilities

Work alongside senior engineers to design, develop, and test integration strategies for multiple applications within the Public Safety suite
Evaluate the deployability of individual features and sets of features, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance
Collaborate with product and deployment teams to assess the release readiness of new features and functionality
Assist in troubleshooting IT-related issues and contribute to solutions
Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
Participate in lab maintenance and process development opportunities

Required

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or similar engineering or technical discipline
Knowledge of networking protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP)
Experience with operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux), routers, and switches
Familiarity with cloud-based technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash), and virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, VirtualBox)
Experience in IT-related troubleshooting and problem-solving
Ability to commute onsite to our Schaumburg, IL campus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
High School Diploma is required
Must be pursuing a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in an engineering or technical discipline with a graduation date of May 2026 or later
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position

Preferred

Experience with Public Safety systems or technologies
Experience with Agile development methodologies
