8+ years expInnovien Solutions is seeking a seasoned SAP Project Manager to lead a significant upgrade from SAP 2021 to 2025 across the enterprise. This role involves end-to-end delivery management, working closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure a smooth transition while identifying risks and maintaining project timelines.

Responsibilities
Own and drive delivery of the SAP 2021 to SAP 2025 upgrade, ensuring timelines, scope, and risks are actively managed
Serve as the primary Project Manager coordinating between internal SAP teams, business stakeholders, and the offshore implementation partner
Manage the offshore provider’s Project Manager and delivery teams to ensure milestones, dependencies, and quality standards are met
Identify potential risks, gaps, and downstream impacts well in advance, proactively addressing issues before they affect delivery
Coordinate upgrade-related communications in partnership with the Change Management team, ensuring impacted users and sites are informed and prepared
Support both local and national business groups as they transition through the upgrade, accounting for varying levels of SAP adoption across sites
Maintain detailed project plans, status reporting, risk logs, and executive-level updates to ensure full visibility across the organization
Drive cross-functional collaboration across IT, SAP functional teams, operations, and leadership to ensure a smooth, on-time upgrade completion
Qualification
Required
8+ years of Project Management experience leading SAP upgrades that spanned multiple business units and functional teams in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated success leading multiple SAP upgrades from ECC or earlier S/4HANA versions through S/4HANA 2023 or later
Deep understanding of SAP upgrade lifecycles, including planning, execution, testing, cutover, go-live, and post go-live stabilization
Experience managing third-party offshore system integrators, including holding vendors accountable for timelines, deliverables, risks, and quality
Strong background coordinating across multiple business units, enterprise users, and plant or operational stakeholders impacted by SAP changes
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to proactively identify risks, manage conflict, and keep diverse teams aligned throughout the upgrade
Preferred
PMP certification
M&A experience
Manufacturing industry experience
Experience upgrading or integrating SAP peripheral systems, such as OpenText, SAP BTP/BIM, Tax Engines (Avalara or Vertex)
Experience using ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) for project tracking and documentation
