Lead Programmer Analyst - Cardiology IT Hardware

Responsibilities

Provides technical and application support for clinical applications, including system implementations and upgrades
Provides technical support and configuration for cardiology diagnostic workstations and diagnostic monitors
Provides technical support for application infrastructure, including servers
Provides technical support and network configuration for clinical modalities, including EKG carts, ultrasound machines, stress treadmills, etc
Assists with the planning and coordination of Cardiology IT related projects and initiatives
Assists in testing system functionality and validation
Engages in issue tracking, follow up and resolution
Escalates major issues to supervisor and works closely with vendors and internal resources to resolve open issues
Provides workflow support to users, including training and education
Develops documentation for technical and non-technical audiences

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
Minimum of 2 years of Information Technology support experience
In lieu of Bachelor's Degree, A.A.S. degree with a minimum of 4 years of Information Technology support experience
Experience with desktop support and networking
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail oriented and have strong analytical and organizational skills

Preferred

CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ or equivalent Information Technology related certifications
Experience providing Information Technology support in a complex healthcare environment
Project experience
