Responsibilities
Source hard goods (blank and decorated) from domestic and international suppliers
Issue, update, and manage purchase orders with vendors and suppliers
Set up new items and vendors in ERP systems
Maintain ongoing communication with vendors regarding pricing, availability, and lead times
Follow up with suppliers to ensure orders are produced and shipped on schedule
Update purchase orders with accurate delivery dates and status changes
Maintain high-volume Microsoft Excel reports to track large-quantity items and support inventory planning
Actively utilize ERP systems to schedule orders with Production Management based on inventory receipts and customer demand
Work closely with Import and Supply Chain Managers on outsourced production jobs
Communicate with Customer Service, Warehouse, Production, and Supply Chain teams regarding order status, issues, or concerns
Support internal teams to ensure timely receipt and distribution of goods
Perform other related duties or special projects as assigned
Qualification
Required
Minimum of three (3) years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with strong Excel skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment
Preferred
Some college coursework preferred
