Responsibilities
Project Leadership : Define project goals, deliverables, budgets, and schedules to align with business priorities
Banking Project Management : Oversee projects in banking operations, compliance, payments, and system integrations. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Team Coordination : Lead cross-functional teams, assign resources, and ensure collaboration across departments
Stakeholder Engagement : Communicate effectively with staff, executives, and clients to maintain alignment and visibility
Performance Monitoring : Evaluate progress, manage risks, and adjust strategies as required. Oversee user acceptance testing and ensure quality standards are met
Technology Integration : Leverage project management software and apply technical insight to enhance delivery efficiency. Strong knowledge of cloud computing, enterprise software, SQL, Oracle, and IT infrastructure. Skilled in Agile, SAFe, Waterfall methodologies, and project management tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, or VersionOne
Risk & Compliance : Identify regulatory and operational risks, recommending mitigation strategies
Quality Assurance : Ensure all deliverables meet organizational and industry standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred
Equivalent combination of education and qualified professional experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree
Proven success managing banking, financial and strategic technology projects
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project, Asana)
Strong knowledge of cloud computing, enterprise software, SQL, Oracle, and IT infrastructure
Skilled in Agile, SAFe, Waterfall methodologies, and project management tools like Microsoft Project, Jira, or VersionOne
Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
Excellent organization and time management
Working knowledge of banking systems, processes, and compliance
Ability to handle multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
Preferred
Relevant certifications such as PMP or PMI-ACP are preferred
Project management and collaboration software (e.g., Jira, MS Project, Smartsheet)
Salesforce
Familiarity with financial databases and digital transformation initiatives
