They are seeking a Senior Payroll Associate with deep expertise in construction payroll, responsible for overseeing payroll operations and ensuring compliance with payroll tax regulations.

Responsibilities
Overseeing end-to-end payroll operations
Ensuring compliance with complex payroll tax regulations
Maintaining accurate payroll accounting
Managing multi-state and union payroll functions common to the construction industry
Auditing payroll data
Resolving discrepancies efficiently
Supporting payroll-related inquiries
Communicating clearly with internal teams and external partners
Assisting with troubleshooting and optimization of payroll system issues
Qualification
Required
Proven expertise in construction payroll management and processing
Strong knowledge of construction payroll taxes, compliance, and regulatory requirements (multi-state, union, prevailing wage)
Solid accounting experience related to payroll functions
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now required
Strong problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail
Preferred
CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) or similar certification is a plus
