Responsibilities

Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls to customers with overdue balances
Conduct conversations in a professional, empathetic, and solution‑driven manner
Understand each customer’s situation and help identify appropriate repayment options, payment plans, or alternative solutions
Educate customers on their account status, financial responsibilities, and available resources
Balance customer advocacy with company financial objectives to reach mutually beneficial outcomes
Accurately document all customer interactions, agreements, and follow‑up actions in the CRM system
Track customer commitments and monitor adherence to repayment arrangements
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of account policies, escalation procedures, and financial products

Required

Strong communication skills—professional, clear, empathetic, and confident
Ability to manage a high volume of calls while maintaining accuracy and composure
Experience in customer service, call center operations, collections, or financial services
Ability to navigate multiple systems and maintain detailed documentation in a CRM
Strong problem‑solving skills with a customer‑first mindset

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Communications, or related field (preferred, not required)
Prior experience in consultative collections or financial wellness counseling
Familiarity with consumer lending, credit products, or payment arrangements
