The successful candidate will support the evaluation, validation, and readiness of a new TA system implementation by collaborating with operations, technology, and compliance teams to ensure the platform meets industry standards and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities

Conduct detailed walkthroughs of core Transfer Agency workflows, including transaction processing, account maintenance, reporting, reconciliation, and controls
Review TA system architecture, configurations, documentation, and data flows to ensure alignment with industry standards and operational best practices
Evaluate system controls, data integrity, and end-to-end transaction behavior
Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and validation scenarios based on real-world TA use cases and prior implementation lessons
Identify gaps, risks, defects, and improvement opportunities and provide clear recommendations
Benchmark system capabilities against leading industry TA platforms
Support issue resolution, defect triage, and remediation activities in partnership with technology teams
Collaborate with TA operations, compliance, and business stakeholders to confirm the platform is fit for purpose prior to rollout
Provide subject matter expertise throughout the implementation lifecycle, including system reviews, migration validation, and readiness assessments

Required

5+ years of Transfer Agency experience in operations, systems, or platform-related roles
Deep understanding of TA workflows, controls, regulatory considerations, and investor servicing processes
Hands-on experience reviewing, validating, or implementing TA systems (e.g., FIS, DST, SS&C, Envision, proprietary platforms)
Strong ability to evaluate system behavior, test functionality, and identify operational or control gaps
Experience creating test cases, validation plans, and documentation for complex financial systems
Ability to collaborate across technical and business teams and communicate findings clearly

Preferred

Experience supporting TA system implementations, conversions, or major platform upgrades
Familiarity with multiple TA vendor solutions or platforms
Strong documentation and presentation skills for both business and technical audiences
