Contract Manager
CCL Global is supporting a major energy infrastructure project and is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join during the critical FEED and Pre-FID phases. This role will focus on managing all contractual aspects of a large-scale industrial project, ensuring successful transition from FEED into full EPC execution.
Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day administration of project contracts and agreements
Manage FEED contractors, Owner’s Engineer services, partners, and vendor contracts
Drive ITT processes from development through award
Negotiate FEED, EPC, and service contracts with engineering firms, suppliers, and subcontractors
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and applicable laws
Coordinate with internal and external legal counsel on contractual assurance
Manage contract correspondence, amendments, claims, and variations
Support dispute resolution, arbitration, or litigation if required
Review contractor invoices and resolve discrepancies
Maintain detailed contract records and documentation
Support EPC readiness activities, execution planning, and staffing strategies
Assist with risk management, regulatory approvals, and permitting activities
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Law, or related field
15+ years of contracts management experience in oil & gas or large downstream capital projects
Prior experience as a Contracts Manager during EPC execution
Background working with major EPC contractors (e.g., large international engineering/construction firms)
Experience working on the Owner's team
Strong on-site construction contract administration experience
Expertise with multiple contracting strategies (Lump Sum, T&M, Unit Rate, etc.)
Knowledge of project finance and commercial structures for large projects
Experience with both greenfield and brownfield projects
Strong understanding of U.S. contracting standards and international frameworks (FIDIC, NEC, etc.)
Familiarity with U.S. construction law, procurement practices, and environmental permitting
Preferred
Degree in Law
Experience in ammonia, LNG, or petrochemical projects
Experience on mega-projects ($1B+ CAPEX)
FEED phase experience
Familiarity with Louisiana regulations and permitting
