Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce implementations
Perform manual and automated testing, including system, integration, regression, acceptance, exploratory, and end‑to‑end testing
Identify, isolate, document, and track defects and bugs, ensuring resolution and quality sign‑off
Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Demos, and working sessions as part of an agile delivery team
Review business requirements and provide early feedback to identify potential gaps or risks
Validate fixes for defects and verify they do not introduce unintended impacts (regression)
Review and evaluate user interfaces for usability, accessibility, conformity, and functional accuracy
Ensure user stories align with acceptance criteria and meet quality standards across all environments
Collaborate closely with Salesforce developers, declarative specialists, business analysts, and PMs to ensure delivery quality
Support creation and maintenance of test data and test documentation used throughout QA cycles
Contribute to the improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies across the project and broader QA function
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree
Minimum of THREE (3) years of Quality Assurance experience, specifically testing Salesforce applications
US Citizenship is contractually required
Must be able to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal or DoD 'PUBLIC TRUST'; candidates must obtain approved adjudication of their PUBLIC TRUST prior to onboarding with Guidehouse. Candidates with an ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY are preferred
Strong understanding of Salesforce functionalities, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Lightning, and Salesforce data models
Experience with QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and testing strategies
Hands‑on experience with test automation and QA tools (e.g., Selenium, test automation frameworks, JIRA)
Excellent problem‑solving, analytical, and communication skills for collaborating with cross‑functional teams
Strong attention to detail and ability to translate requirements into effective test scenarios
Ability to adapt to the evolving Salesforce ecosystem and rapidly changing features
Preferred
Salesforce Certifications such as: Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform App Builder, Salesforce QA‑related certifications (if applicable)
Experience designing, improving, or standardizing QA processes, metrics, and tools
Experience creating and documenting process flows, test scripts, and quality documentation
Familiarity with Apex, Salesforce integrations, Lightning components, and Salesforce automation features (Flows, Process Builder)
Prior experience leading requirement‑gathering discussions and translating them into testable acceptance criteria
