Responsibilities
Oversee disbursements and reconciliation of cash suspense accounts
Responsible for company issued credit cards, 1099 reporting, and B-Notices
Supervise staff that maintain subsidiary records for agent deducts, agent’s other income, return checks and co-op advertising
Responsible for timely reconciliation of bank accounts for all Shelter Companies
Coordinate outstanding check project, due diligence, and escheatment
Coordinates the completion and filing of personal property reports and timely payment of personal property taxes
Qualification
Required
Ability to lead, direct, and motivate staff to achieve or exceed individual and group performance goals while maintaining a harmonious work environment
Requires Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
Previous work experience should demonstrate ability to coordinate activities of a team of employees to achieve given goals and deadlines
Requires strong analytical skills to determine source of problems and make proper decisions for correction
Requires above average communication, leadership and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with supervised personnel and other Company personnel
Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is required
Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation

Previous accounting experience is preferred
